If you want to breathe new life into one room, a number of rooms or the whole house YCD can add that modern feel to any space.
From a new layout or a space adjusted for your needs, modernizing the aesthetics with new doors, floors and more.

Assess

Beginning with a consultation, YCD gives the client the floor to share their hopes and ideas for the renovation. With that in mind, YCD then visits the space to start exploring its practical aspects—like who uses it and how.

From there, YCD works with the client to hash out things like preferred style, design possibilities, and approximate budget available.

Based on the client’s vision, YCD then presents some design possibilities and offers professional advice about what can be achieved in the given space.

Design

YCD works behind the scenes to map out a design that’s totally unique to the project at hand.

Based on the initial designs, the client then has the chance to give honest feedback which is used to evolve and perfect the design—right down to the very last detail. This will bring us to the final design and quotation.

Once that’s set, YCD works out if there’s any additional trades needed to bring the renovation process full circle; and finally, sets a project timeline.

Install

YCD focuses on fitting out the space and making sure the ongoing work stays true to the client’s original vision. To keep the cogs turning smoothly, YCD liaises with all required trades to ensure the installation is carried out efficiently and professionally.

YCD stays available to discuss progress with the client as needed, so that they’re in the loop with the latest developments and satisfied with progress as it happens. Upon completion of the project, we’ll wrap things up with a final debrief and double check that everything has met expectations.

Young Carpentry and Design is highly experienced in delivering quality craftsmanship to create bespoke designs for your home renovation requirements.

Micheal Young is a fully qualified carpenter with more than 12 years experience in all aspect of carpentry and joinery, gaining in-depth knowledge in both construction and joinery practices.

Qualified from GMIT Letterfrack, the National Centre for Excellence in Furniture design and manufacturing, Micheal focuses on quality craftsmanship to ensure the highest standards are achieved.

Based in Cork, Young Carpentry and Design will provide for all you carpentry, made to measure and bespoke furniture requirements.
